UH football begins today with our Warriors playing the #1 ranked USC Trojans in LA. As expected, UH is getting a major ass-whupping as USC leads 20-0 after only the 1st quarter. I expect things to get much worse as the Trojan offense starts to warm up and their defense continues to dominate. I sure hope UH can at least score something today … sure would hate to start the season with a shut-out. It’s too bad we don’t have any receivers …
Had a good time at Lulu’s last night … thought it was going to be a quiet night since the waiters told me that business had been kind of soft the whole week. As it turned out, some of our friends showed up and a group of local guys came in to celebrate birthdays so it ended up getting a little crazy. Someone ordered me a shot of chilled Crown Royal and pineapple juice during one of our breaks … actually tasted pretty good and definitely better than a Jaeger Bomb! The trick is to stop at one …
Tonight we’re at the Kani Ka Pila Grille which will be our final performance for the next couple of weeks since the boys will be traveling. Alex will be in Japan which includes a stop in Yokohama to do a solo live at Thumbs Up on Sept. 13th. I want to take this time to send a special mahalo out to all of our fans who bought tickets to his show. This will be his first solo performance and I cannot begin to tell you how much your love and support means to all of us!
