I forgot that this was a “short” week since Thanksgiving is on Thursday and most people take Friday off. It’s getting busy around the house with the girls starting to prepare for our annual Thanksgiving dinner with friends and family. After many years of doing this, I’ve learned to just stay out of their way, so I plan to go golfing early Thursday morning! Of course, I still have to make sure that the front porch and other areas outside the house are clean so I don’t get off completely …
Last night I went to Tiki’s to watch Alex’s solo live and saw Sarah and her hula sisters along with Kyoko and her friends who are visiting from Japan. Alex looked and sounded much more relaxed last night than he did on his first solo live a couple of weeks ago. Mark joined him last night on bass and keys and gave Alex great support. I want to say mahalo to Kyoko for the lovely senbei Christmas ornaments that she gave me last night! We will definitely put it up on our tree!
Our IOLANI on Kona St. store will be open on Sundays for the holiday season so you’ll be able to come down and shop any day of the week. Almost all of our items can only be found in our store, so come and check it out!
