It’s raining .. again!

What’s with this screwy weather?  Lately, it’s been like winter here in Manoa Valley – lots of rain showers and brisk, cool winds.  Meanwhile, other parts of the world are sweltering in record heat & humidity like what we just experienced in Japan a few weeks ago.  This global climate change is really starting to scare me …

Had a fun day at IOLANI on KONA ST. yesterday … another Japan travel magazine came in to do an interview & photo shoot, and our buddy, ukulele virtuoso Bryan Tolentino also dropped by to talk story and pick up an IO-SPORT shirt for his gig last night.  You looked great, Bryan, and mahalo!  Oh … and we just got some new flavors of Kaua’i Kookies – Rocky Road, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, and Cranberry – so ONO!!  As you know, Kaua’i Kookies is also part of the Kawakami ohana so these special cookies are only available at the original bakery in Hanapepe, Kaua’i, or at IOLANI on KONA ST., so come on down and get some!

We’re going to go down to Kani Ka Pila this afternoon to start planning our upcoming “EVOLUTION” CD party, so if you’re looking for some great entertainment and giveaways, come and join us on Saturday, Sept. 4th, from 6 to 9PM at the Kani Ka Pila Grille!

Aloha, “D”
