Good morning! Well it’s another Monday for us here in Hawai’i, and we’re two days away from JVC’s release of our first CD “PURE ALOHA!” in Japan! Working on this project has been a huge learning experience for us all and I’m glad to see it finally come to fruition!  Our other new CD “EVOLUTION” will also be debuting in June, and people have asked me why we’re releasing two CDs so close to each other. Well … first of all, “PURE ALOHA!” was produced by JVC for the Japan market and showcases our popular NHK song KIZUNA, while “EVOLUTION” is our “baby” and the follow-up to our two previous CDs, “NO PLACE LIKE HOME” and “FOLLOW ME”. More importantly, however, is that the “feel” of both CDs are different – “PURE ALOHA!”, which includes several tracks from “EVOLUTION”, is a wonderful compilation that showcases MDNA’s musical journey from past to present. “EVOLUTION”, on the other hand, represents MDNA’s music today and how far we’ve come since we last recorded almost 3 years ago. Both CDs are well worth listening to …
