Broadcasting from the Radio-i Studios on the Beachwalk in Waikiki, Manoa DNA brings you a brand new radio program called “Discover Aloha.”
Aimed at informing and entertaining fans of Hawai’i and Manoa DNA, we bring you a little bit of Hawai’i every show. Along with new and classic Hawai’i songs, we talk about the people and culture of Hawai’i. Here are a list of segments (corners) that we do during the show:
Hawai’i Countdown: Every show we choose a different topic about Hawai’i and count down the top five best things from it. From Shave Ice to Big Surf Spots, each show has a different topic and a different countdown.
Talk Story with Manoa DNA: During our careers, we have befriended many people from many different areas of Hawai’i. Each show, we sit down and “talk story” with one person to find out more about what they do, who they are, and their link to Hawai’i.
Manoa DNA Live! Reports Hawai’i has such a diverse entertainment scene, that we wanted to start documenting it. “Manoa DNA Live! Reports” is our way of letting everyone in on the fun! Mostly consisting of Manoa DNA Live! events around the islands, we also broadcast fellow entertainers and events that we attend!
We are very proud to be able to host a radio show and reach our fans on a consistent basis. This is both a great honor and a great challenge and we hope to exceed everyone’s expectations and create a great event!
