Big golf match today!

It’s another “Old Guys vs. Young Guys” golf match today!  Me and Ichikura-san from Hawaii Tourism Japan are taking on Alex and Nick in an epic rematch out at the Ko Olina Golf Club!  It should be a lot of fun and I hope the boys give us old guys a lot of handicap!  The last time we played was in Hiroshima at the beautiful Kamo Country Club and the young team killed us old guys!  I’ll let you know what the outcome is in tomorrow’s blog …

It was great to be back at Lulu’s last night performing with my boys – especially after such a stressful week!  There’s nothing like having a few beers and making good music to soothe the restless soul!  All of our friends and family were there except for Nao and Chiemi who returned to Japan last week.  I’m sorry I wasn’t able to say final goodbyes to them since I was out of town, but we’ll see them in November when we go to Hiroshima.  Also met Kimo and his family from California who promised to spread the “DNA magic” when they got back home – thanks, guys, and safe travels!

Peace, Lloy”D”

…..Is “Kimo” who you say Jim Kimo West?

    • Hi Miyoshi,
I’m not sure what you mean by “Jim Kimo West” … our friend’s brother, Kimo, was at Lulu’s last Friday night.

    I’m sorry 🙁
    I misunderstood.
I mean “Jim Kimo West” is slack key guitarist.

Surprised to see Kimo’s name mentioned on your blog. Yes, my family from California enjoyed your gig very much. My brother was caught offguard when you guys dedicated a song to him. He said he’ll definitely show off your CDs to friends. No wonder Anna & I always invite our out-of-town guests to Lulu’s. We’re so proud of D N A!!!

    Aloha,
