For some reason I woke up very early – 5:00am – and am sitting here on our lanai in the dark! I don’t know why I’ve been getting up so early recently, but it’s nice since the mornings are my favorite time of day. I just listened to the demo of a new song which Alex wrote for a project in Japan … it’s pretty awesome, especially the ending! I hope you all will be able to hear this song one day!
I’m going to make some coffee now and get ready to go downtown to pick up a lei for my mom. If you’re looking for a good lei shop, check out Lin’s on Manuakea St. in downtown Honolulu. They always have a very good selection and the prices are usually pretty reasonable. I think my sister Pat is taking my mom up to Punchbowl to “visit” dad this morning, so I’d better get going. Have a wonderful day!
