When it comes to ManoaDNA, with gigs at least three times a week, you take “vacation” days whenever you can! While Alx works in Japan, Dad & I have the weekend off and will be spending it doing something fun (I hope)! As for the last two weeks, they weren’t as fun as the previous two, but there were a couple of fun events I’d like to share!
First, we visited the Pagoda Hotel last Friday night for the 2014 Honolulu Fashion Week opening press conference. Governor Abercrombie introduced the collaborations taking place between Japanese and local designers, and talked about the IOLANIxUNIQLO collaboration as well!
Also over the weekend, I had the privilege of spending the day with some friends to celebrate a bachelor weekend! My friend, Danny, is getting married in March, so it was nice to spend a night with him on the north shore! We had an awesome adventure at Kualoa Ranch, then were partying the night away in Malaekahana. Here’s a photo from the beach…
Short and sweet today. Like I said, I’m getting ready for a weekend of no music, with a little bit of Punahou Carnival mixed in!
