Morning music …

Aloha, peeps!  It’s 6am and yup, it’s still raining here in Manoa … at least it’s cooler and not as humid as before.  I’m sitting here with a steaming mug of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and listening to Simon & Garfunkel’s “Feelin’ Groovy” with a big smile on my face because it’s such a happy song!  I think if more people woke up to their favorite “happy” song, this world would be so much more content …

Our friends, Bernie & Malcolm Yee, celebrated their 25th anniversary last night at the Oahu Country Club with a evening filled with great food, drink, and music.  I ran into Randy Fukino, an old friend from my high school days … he attended Kamehameha and I was at Punahou and we both competed in swimming & water polo.  Great memories!  Last night, he along with Don Kauli’a, Mark Goto, and others provided some great music for all the guests.  Mahalo, you guys!

I gotta run because I have an early morning meeting .. have a wonderful Thursday, everyone!

Aloha, “D”
