Ok, apologies to all the followers of ManoaDNA Weekends, because it is Wednesday and I am supposed to write these for Monday! I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I was cleaning my house, like a good Japanese boy so that all the dirt demons are out of my house for the new year! Anyway, enough whining, onto the show!
Of course, this weekend was a major one because it was Christmas weekend! Merry Christmas everyone, hope you all had a safe and fun day and hopefully Santa brought you everything you asked for!
Christmas eve was spent cheering on the University of Hawai’i Warriors as they battled the University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane. I’m very angry about this game, so we’ll stop here. Grrrrr!
Christmas Day was a hectic, fun day with even the dogs opening presents! Mom made our traditional delicious waffles, and the family got a chance to finally relax!
Then finally, to end the weekend, the Kawakamis hosted our second annual “Cupcake Challenge.” More then a dozen of my friends baked their butts off and presented their finest cupcake entries in this year’s event. Every year, we gather and pick our favorites, and each winner receives a prize! This year, everyone stepped up their games and made some delicious cupcakes!
Again, I apologize for getting off schedule, I will release “Nick in Photos” tomorrow like usual, so stay tuned for that!
