Dunkin’ Donuts coffee

‘Morning … have any of you guys tried the Dunkin’ Donuts brand of coffee? It’s pretty good and we always get the big pound and a half bag whenever we can find it.  It’s not real gourmet stuff, but it’s a lot better than most of the brands out there.

I have to take my car in for servicing and a safety check this morning … probably won’t past the safety check since my front two tires are pretty bald.  I ordered a new set of Goodyear tires online and was informed that it would be 4-6 weeks before they were in stock!  I’m gonna wait because their price is almost HALF of what it costs to buy them here locally!  And then people wonder why our cost of living is so high … hello!!

Forgot to send a big mahalo out to our good friends, Leland & Kuniko, who came down to the IOLANI on Kona St. store with a couple of their friends from Setagaya, Japan.  Thanks also for the ono baked manapua, guys!  I brought them to our father-son golf tournament and they were a big hit … unlike my tee shots!

It’s been nice not having to perform or go places these last two weeks, and I was really looking forward to spending a nice quiet week leading up to the New Year.  WRONG!  We’ve somehow managed to fill the next three nights with commitments  … how did that happen??!  It would be great if I could spend a nice relaxing New Years Eve at home without having to be anywhere (sigh!) but it looks we’ll be running around again.  Anyway, having the last two weeks off has really helped me recharge and I’m looking forward to a great 2011 for both IOLANI and MDNA!  We’ve been writing songs and preparing new material, so get ready … here we come!

Aloha, “D”
