Jet lag is killing me!

Good morning, everyone!  Well, the jet lag is alive and well … I couldn’t get to sleep until at least 1am the past two nights and even woke up at 10am yesterday morning!  I would still be sleeping this morning if it weren’t for our crazy puppies doing their morning sprints around the house!  It’s been raining a lot here in Manoa, which is a good thing since it’s kept things green and very cool … almost chilly in fact!  What a huge relief from the heat & humidity we encountered in Japan …

It’s Thursday, so you know that means I have my regular afternoon golf outing with my buddies.  I’m almost afraid to see what my swing looks like after not playing for almost a month … I hope I don’t embarrass myself too much!  I also tried playing squash with my right hand yesterday for the first time in almost 3 months.  Although there was no pain, my wrist is a little sore this morning so I’m not sure if it’s fully recovered yet.  Depending on how it feels after golf today, I might try and play more squash tomorrow ….

The IOLANI store is doing well – all of our guests say that there’s a very nice and comfortable feeling about it.  We’re still working on some of the merchandising and layout, but everything seems to be coming along very nicely.  Please come by and visit us … we’d love to welcome you to the latest “addition” to our ohana!

And as promised, here are some more pics from ManoaDNA’s summer tour … sorry for the lousy picture quality – took it with my iPhone!

Aloha, “D”.
