I’m sitting here with my dog, Buster, enjoying another beautiful Manoa morning and reading a book about my grandpa’s brother which my cousin found on eBay. It chronicles his life as a young boy from the village of Soneda in Fukuoka Prefecture who immigrated to Hawaii as a plantation laborer and eventually found success in both business and politics. I enjoyed reading it as it gave me a deeper insight into my father’s family history, and I look forward to learning more about it as time goes by.
That’s about it for today … sorry, but it looks like this Tuesday is going to be real quiet!
Aloha, Lloy”D”
It’s the good things to spend to reading a book quietly.
I like reading a book 🙂
