Upcoming trips

Aloha everybody!
We’re making final preparations for our trip to Seattle on Thursday to perform at the University of Washington’s annual lu’au. I heard that the weather has warmed up a bit and that Seattle’s harsh winter season may finally be over … oh well, we’ll find out very soon!

After we return on Sunday, we fly out to Japan on Wednesday to represent Hawaii Tourism Japan with performances in Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Osaka. We’re very excited to see all of you very soon!

On a sadder note, my father passed away this morning at the age of 90. He was a great man and a wonderful grandfather to Nick & Alex. We will all miss him terribly.

Take care,
Lloyd

  1. Oh…I’m so sorry to hear that.

    Aloha,
    Naoko

  2. I’m so sorry to hear about your father’s passing. My grandmother has been gone 17 years now, but I still feel very close to her and truly believe that she continues to watch over me. I am sure your father will watch over you and yours.

On a happier note, my friend Hiroe Fujihara is a reporter at TV Shin Hiroshima, so maybe I can ask her to get me a copy of the documentary. Alex is an extremely gifted songwriter…

    • Aloha, Rose!
Sorry for such a late response as things are FINALLY starting to settle down! Thank you so much for being our “guide” in Osaka during our recent trip for Golden Week … unfortunately, Alex was not feeling quite up to par that evening. Please take care, and we hope to see you again soon!
